Released in 2018, Coding Express is basically a Duplo Train set with heaps of fun pieces that allows for so much inspiration and creativity. The colour sensing train is a great tool for introducing children to coding basics as they use different coloured pieces to instruct the train to do things such as reverse, play sounds and turn lights on. I use these kits with 3-6 year-olds! |
Coding Express Free-Play

In groups of 2-5 children, students will work together to create a train track, then decorate it according to their own choice. They will also build a simple duplo train with a carriage and use the specially designed coloured train action bricks to command the train to do different things. |

Coding Express Using iPads
|
If connecting to an iPad is desired by the person booking the workshop, then each group will be given a tablet to use. They will connect them to their train and use the app to control the train and solve problems. |
