Home-school groups

For groups like this, where there is a wide range of ages it is sometimes better to have one session for younger children and one session for older children.

Given my number of robots, about 20 children (or less) per session is ideal.

"Steve provided 2 sessions of engaging activities for our homeschooling group (ages 7-16). The sessions went for about two hours each, were very enjoyable and suitable for a range of abilities. "After going to a school holiday program run by Robot Man, we booked a term of classes for our home school group of 12 kids, aged 7 to around 13. The lessons are all different but also build on skills they learnt the week before. Using a range of different robots and coding techniques,

Steve engages with each child as needed and also lets them ‘have their head’ and go for it, designing and adapting as they go. The first term was such a success the second term was split up into 2 classes of 20 children each, aged from 5 to 12. Some have no experience and others have lots, but they are all engaged and learning. I can’t recommend Robot Man enough for his teaching, patience, high standard of equipment and ease to work with."

The above prices do not include GST.
For this price list, sessions must occur on the same day or consecutive days (>3 sessions).

Additional fees may be added if average group sizes are larger than 28 participants. (Usually $10 a head above 28)

Robot Man is very flexible. I always try to be fair and reasonable. Fill in the form below for an enquiry, get a quote or to book.

Discounts may apply if I am already in your zone.

For home-school groups, payment is required before the end of the workshop(s)

Usually a parent will book and organise other parents to attend. Usually you provide the venue, and I bring everything else. One payment per booking is required. I do not collect money from individual families.
