Project Name: Tug-of-war Controlled by: Programming orRemote Control Programming Difficulty: Easy Construction Difficulty: Medium General Comment. This is harder than it looks
Rules FOR STUDENTS
You must use: -1 NXT or EV brick -2 motors
You must: Build a robot that can go pull another robot over a line, just like tug-of-war.
Tips For students
Tip: Cars with four wheels will go straighter. Tip: Cars that use gears will be stronger. A big gear on the wheel and a small gear on the motor will make the wheel turn slower and stronger. To use gears, the wheel's axel can't go through the motor's hole.
SAMPLE PROGRAMMING
TEACHER INFO
Additional Equipment needed: Some sort of string, cord or rope and it's better if you can find two carabinas. You'll need for tape on the ground for start and finish lines.
Grading option: The more wins the better! If you are recording each battle, make a copy of this Google Sheet to help you score
I added a Carabina to each end of mine to allow easy attachment to each robot.
